Quarterly Recognition Luncheons
To be recognized by your peers or supervisors as doing something outstanding enough to earn an Employee of the Month recognition means others have noticed you’ve really gone above and beyond. Other outstanding employees, Department supervisors and guests in attendance are often inspired by the amazing actions taken by our coworkers. The fabulous meal at the Proximity and gifts are just a bonus.

Greensboro Police Department
Every three months, the Greensboro Police Foundation partners with a local corporation to sponsor a Quarterly Recognition Luncheon which takes place at the Proximity Hotel. Greensboro Police Department officers and employees that have been nominated by their command staff are invited to attend with a guest. Every honoree is presented with a plaque and two gift cards to Quaintance-Weaver restaurants.
Officers and employees are honored for their outstanding service that goes above and beyond their job descriptions. Past honorees have included an officer that solved a decades-old cold-case homicide and an officer that paid for a mattress for a displaced family out of her own pocket. These luncheons are a wonderful way to demonstrate the community’s appreciation for the dedicated service of the men and women in the Greensboro Police Department.
