It’s not too late to participate in the Greensboro Police Department’s Virtual Honor 5K!

Surrounded by family in a hall packed with community members, city leaders, and well-wishers, James received his badge and pledged to keep the community safe.

What an incredible year for the Greensboro Police Foundation! On October 12, 2019, we held our first annual large-scale signature fundraising event, The Blue Salute, presented by the DeJoy Wos Family Foundation.

Greensboro city leaders have named Deputy Chief Brian L. James as the city’s new Police Chief. James will assume his duties as police chief on February 1.

Greensboro police and volunteers dropped off gifts to around 30 families and 50 seniors in a retirement community Saturday.

Founded in 2011, the goal of Operation PASS is to provide school supplies to Greensboro students in need. Since that time, over 10,000 students have benefited from this program.
